Coleen Kinsler

Coleen Kinsler is a Family Law attorney with Bryant Colletti Kaplan Kinsler & De La Reza LLP in Austin, Texas. During her third year of law school, she recognized that she wanted to build her career around helping individuals and families navigate difficult transitions through thoughtful legal guidance and practical solutions. Since the beginning of her legal career, Coleen has focused exclusively on Family Law and has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2020.

Coleen represents clients throughout Austin and Central Texas in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, property division, enforcement actions, modifications, and other family-related legal issues. She understands that family law disputes can affect every aspect of a person’s life and works closely with clients to help them make informed decisions during challenging circumstances.

With an approach centered on communication, preparation, and problem-solving, Coleen assists clients through negotiation and mediation when appropriate while remaining prepared to advocate for their interests in court when litigation is necessary. Her experience handling family law matters in multiple jurisdictions provides valuable perspective when addressing complex legal and personal issues.

Originally from the Hudson Valley region of New York, Coleen moved to the Austin area during middle school and considers Central Texas home. She earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University before attending law school in Chicago, Illinois. Although also licensed in Illinois, Coleen returned to Texas to continue her Family Law practice and has experience representing clients in Chicago, Harris County and surrounding counties, as well as counties throughout Central Texas.

Outside of her legal practice, Coleen enjoys golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
