Cole is a partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office who practices primarily in the areas of corporate commercial litigation, insurance defence, shareholder disputes, construction disputes, debt collection, and farm partnership disputes. He also advises clients on various corporate governance issues.
Cole has appeared in all three levels of Saskatchewan Court (Provincial Court, Court of King’s Bench, and Court of Appeal) as well as before various administrative tribunals. Cole joined the Firm as an Associate in 2019 after articling with the Firm in 2018. He earned his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 2018. Prior to law school, Cole was enrolled with the Edward’s School of Business (finance) at the University of Saskatchewan.
Outside of the office, Cole enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing rec hockey, slo-pitch, squash, and golf. He is also an active member of Saskatoon’s business community, having volunteered as a board member of the non-profit organization, Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) Inc. since 2019.
