Christopher Schubert brings more than 26 years of experience in real estate, land use, and business law. He represents leading telecommunications companies, wireless carriers, and tower operators in complex zoning and leasing matters, while also advising developers, landowners, and commercial clients throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Chris provides practical, strategic guidance on zoning, subdivision, land development, leasing, real estate transactions, and condemnation issues. Chris’ foresight in developing hearing procedures that streamline zoning applications has enabled expedited approvals for telecommunications clients, helping them deploy networks on-time and on-budget. He and his colleagues have successfully zoned and assisted with leasing over 2,000 project sites for spec tower and network build-outs, supporting platforms including LTE-Advanced, 5G, Rural Broadband FWA, WiMAX, and low-latency MW and fiber backhaul. More recently, Chris has focused on zoning and franchise negotiations for small cell and DAS infrastructure, and he actively engages at state and local levels in drafting and advocating legislation to facilitate advanced wireless deployment. He is also a regular presenter on legislative and regulatory matters affecting the wireless industry. Beyond telecommunications, Chris represents a wide range of national, regional, and local developers, appearing before hundreds of municipalities across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey to obtain approvals, entitlements, and enforce property rights. An accomplished litigator, he has successfully prosecuted federal Telecommunications Act claims, state land use appeals, real estate appeals, and civil actions in trial and appellate courts, achieving favorable outcomes for clients while establishing industry precedent.
