Q&A

We keep the caseloads of our divorce and family law attorneys to approximately half of what other divorce attorneys handle at any given time. This is intentional and allows us to move much more thoroughly and quickly to obtain positive results for our clients.

The most common question we are asked is how much the divorce is going to cost. The answer we provide is that the cost of the divorce will be dependent on how knowledgeable and reasonable the attorneys and parties are in the case. If either attorney or either spouse is unreasonable, the cost of the litigation are going to increase substantially. There are still strategies we impose when someone in the divorce is unreasonable to mitigate those costs, but they will nevertheless still increase.

I had a person come to me who was represented by another attorney. She was getting crushed in the case and was almost ready to just give up. I took the case and completely turned the entire case around. We built such a strong case that the judge, on the day of trial, called both attorneys into her chambers and told opposing counsel things were not going to go his way. We won the entire case without having to put on a single piece of evidence based upon the information we had in our Pretrial Statement and the evidence we had previously marked as exhibits for the trial.

Ensuring clients emotional needs are met in a divorce. Everyone handles a divorce or other family law matter with a certain emotional intelligence. We work hard to ensure the clients emotions in a divorce do not control the direction of the litigation.
