Christoph Trautrims

Dr Christoph Trautrims is a lawyer specialising in corporate transactions (M&A), corporate law, and real estate law. He is known for his pragmatic, reliable advice and as a trusted sparring partner, developing solutions that balance economic and legal requirements.

His main focus is advising on M&A transactions and corporate law matters such as capital increases, transformations, and restructurings, including international projects. He has worked on numerous complex deals, including the Linde–Praxair merger and the Thyssenkrupp–Tata negotiations, and has been recognised several times by WirtschaftsWoche as a top corporate lawyer. Dr Trautrims also advises on real estate transactions, project developments, and asset and share deals.

He studied in Germany and the USA, earning his doctorate at the Universities of Passau, Marburg, and Cambridge, supported by scholarships from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and DAAD. He received multiple awards for his academic and professional achievements. He is based in Frankfurt.
