Dr Christoph Philipp is a partner at P+P Pöllath + Partners in Munich. He specialises in advice on family-owned businesses including business succession and structuring (corporate governance), advice of wealthy individuals (prenuptial agreements, inheritance contracts, wills, execution of wills), foundations and trusts, tax law and pro-bono-áctivities.
Subsequent to a bank apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank, he studied law at the Universities of Berlin and Muenster and wrote his doctorate thesis on inheritance tax law. He is the author of numerous publications, and lectures frequently on inheritance tax law. Since 2007 he has been lecturing at the University of Muenster's Master's Course in Private Wealth Management.
