Dr Christoph Philipp is a partner at P+P Pöllath + Partners in Munich. He specialises in advice of family-owned businesses including business succession and structuring (corporate governance), domestic and international prenuptial agreements, divorce settlements and succession planning, execution of wills, foundation and estate planning and pro-bono-activities.
He serves as executor and is a member of the AGT Arbeitsgemeinschaft Testamentsvollstreckung und Vermögenssorge e.V. (Association for Executorship and Asset Supervision).
Subsequent to a bank apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank, he studied law at the Universities of Berlin and Muenster and wrote his doctorate thesis on inheritance tax law. He is the author of numerous publications, and lectures frequently on inheritance tax law. Since 2007 he has been lecturing at the University of Muenster's Master's Course in Private Wealth Management.
