Biography
Christine Glazer, KC, a senior litigation lawyer in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office, whose practice focuses on Medical Malpractice Defence, personal injury and disability claims, as well as administrative law spanning a range of subject areas including professional licensing, discipline and labour law.
Christine earned her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1980. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan in 1977. Christine became a partner of the Firm in 1990 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1999. She has transitioned to Of Counsel in 2020.
Christine is a past President of the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, past Chair of the National Health Law Section of the CBA and past member of the Management Board of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association. She is the former Chair of the firm’s Health Law practice group and a member of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers. She lectures to professional organizations on numerous topics including trial advocacy, expert witnesses and administrative law.
Consistently top ranked as Local Litigation star by Benchmark Canada, Christine was awarded 2015 and 2016 Saskatchewan Litigator of the Year.
Christine has also been “Consistently Recommended” in the area of Medical Negligence and is listed in the 2025 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory.
Christine has recently been ranked again in the 2025 edition of Chambers Canada Legal Guide. She is ranked Band 4 for Healthcare: Contentious in Canada-Nationwide.
