Christina M. Bezas

Christina represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the country, including New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Her practice includes handling all phases of litigation involving civil RICO claims, fraud, unjust enrichment, and related state law causes of action. As part of her work with Rivkin Radler LLP in Uniondale, New York, Christina frequently represents insurance carriers in affirmative litigation to recover improperly obtained insurance benefits and to seek injunctive relief aimed at stopping ongoing fraudulent conduct. She also advises clients on fraud prevention, internal investigations, and compliance strategies, supporting matters involving Corporate Governance and Compliance Law and Insurance Law.

Before entering private practice, Christina served as an assistant district attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, Trial Division. In that role, she investigated and prosecuted a broad range of felony cases, including attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary, weapons offenses, robbery, and theft-related crimes. She acted as lead trial counsel in numerous felony jury trials, gaining extensive courtroom and trial advocacy experience.

In addition to her litigation and compliance work, Christina has contributed legal and community-focused writing to the local publication Stroll Lloyd Harbor. While attending law school, she served as a senior staff member of the Journal of International and Comparative Law and the New York International Law Review, and she participated in mock trial competitions across the United States.
