Dr. Christian Sandweg is a German Patent Attorney (Patentanwalt) and European Patent Attorney at Vossius & Partner Patentanwälte Rechtsanwälte mbB in Düsseldorf. He focuses his practice on Intellectual Property Law, advising clients on the protection and enforcement of patent rights.
Dr. Sandweg joined VOSSIUS in 2011 and was admitted to practice as a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2015. As part of his professional training in intellectual property, he completed placements at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, and the Mannheim Regional Court. He became a partner of the firm in 2016.
He studied physics at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Kaiserslautern, concentrating on solid state physics with a focus on magnetism. After graduating in 2007, he completed his doctoral research at the University of Kaiserslautern in the field of magnetization dynamics.
