Chris Wullum is a civil litigation lawyer with Tapper Cuddy LLP in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His practice focuses on Medical Negligence, Personal Injury Litigation, and Defamation and Media Law. He also advises clients in employment law, human rights matters, and privacy law.
Chris represents individuals and families in complex civil litigation matters involving serious injuries and disputed liability. His work includes medical negligence claims arising from birth trauma, surgical complications, delayed diagnosis, and other significant healthcare-related injuries, as well as personal injury litigation involving catastrophic injuries and long-term care needs.
A significant part of Chris’s practice involves advocating for children and families affected by injuries occurring during pregnancy, labour, delivery, and neonatal care. He is a founding member and current President of the Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance of Canada, a national organization focused on legal advocacy and education relating to birth injury litigation.
In his defamation and media law practice, Chris advises clients on reputational disputes, privacy concerns, and media-related matters. He also provides counsel in workplace and human rights disputes, with an emphasis on practical and strategic advocacy tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Chris was included in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers Canada for Medical Negligence, Personal Injury Litigation, and Defamation and Media Law. He was also recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” for Personal Injury Litigation in Winnipeg in 2026.
Outside of his legal practice, Chris remains active in the Winnipeg community. He serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation and is the Past Chair of Ten Ten Sinclair Housing Inc.
