Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr. was born in Deadwood, South Dakota on December 18, 1941. He attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota in 1967.
Mr. Sederstrom began practicing law in Omaha, Nebraska in July 1968 with Donald H. Erickson and later helped establish Erickson Sederstrom. Throughout his legal career, he has represented businesses, health care organizations, and corporate clients in a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.
His practice includes Corporate Law and Health Care Law, with extensive experience advising hospitals, physicians, and health systems on operational, compliance, and legislative issues affecting the health care industry. Mr. Sederstrom previously served as Senior Vice President of Legal, Compliance and Legislative Services for Alegent Creighton Health, one of Nebraska’s largest health care systems and nongovernmental employers. In that role, he provided legal and strategic guidance for a network that included 10 hospitals, approximately 450 employed physicians, and more than 100 points of entry across the health system.
Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. Sederstrom continues to bring decades of legal experience and industry knowledge to clients throughout the region through his work at Erickson Sederstrom.
