Charles Lapointe

Charles Lapointe is a partner in Langlois Lawyers’ Quebec City office. He practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, banking law, intellectual property law and information technology law.

In his insolvency practice Charles regularly represents financial institutions, bankruptcy trustees and receivers, while his intellectual-property clientele consists primarily of SMEs, providers of technological solutions and their customers, and telecommunications enterprises.

A born entrepreneur, Charles is familiar with the challenges confronting businesses and enthusiastically provides them with practical advice throughout all the stages of their growth cycle. He also negotiates and drafts contracts for his clients and provides them with dispute-prevention services. He also pleads on a regular basis before the courts, particularly the Quebec Superior Court and Court of Appeal, as well as before commercial arbitration tribunals.
