Charles Buist is a trial attorney licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He is a co-founder of Spetsas Buist Personal Injury & Car Accident Lawyers, a personal injury law firm he established with his law partner, Nicholas Spetsas, in Orlando, Florida in 2021. Charles focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in complex personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, namely cases involving wrongful death, amusement park accidents, roller coaster accidents, 18-Wheeler and Semi Truck Accidents, automobile accidents, and treatment facility suicide claims.
Charles’s commitment to representing injured individuals is rooted in personal experience. As a child, his family was involved in a serious automobile accident caused by a vehicle defect. Both of his parents suffered significant injuries, and the aftermath of the collision permanently changed his family’s life. Witnessing the physical, emotional, and financial impact of a serious accident at a young age continues to influence his approach to representing clients who have been harmed by negligence.
Raised by his father, Dr. Buist, a dentist, Charles spent much of his early life in a dental office and began working as a dental assistant at a young age. Through this experience, he observed the long-term effects traumatic injuries can have on a person’s health, appearance, and quality of life. Many patients sought treatment after suffering injuries caused by serious accidents and crashes, giving Charles an early understanding of how serious injuries can affect individuals and families for years after they happen.
These experiences helped shape Charles’s decision to pursue a legal career focused on advocating for injured people. Today, he represents plaintiffs in wrongful death and personal injury cases. Based in Orlando, Florida, Charles works with individuals and families all over the country through his extensive network of notable personal injury trial lawyers.
At Spetsas Buist Personal Injury & Car Accident Lawyers, the lawyers will take a case to trial. Charles is committed to making sure his clients get justice.
