I am a founding partner of JJC Law LLC, where I focus on maritime, products liability, environmental, and personal injury litigation. I was born in Patterson, Louisiana, in St. Mary Parish, and grew up along the Bayou Teche. My journey eventually led me to New Orleans, where I attended Tulane University and Tulane Law School.
My background in physics, mathematics, and computer science, combined with my lifelong experience around the offshore and inland oil and gas industries, gives me a unique understanding of the technical and scientific issues that frequently arise in maritime and environmental cases. As a litigator, I have had the opportunity to brief and argue significant legal issues related to maritime injury, insurance coverage, products liability, and personal injury.
Outside of my practice, I lead our firm's sponsored basketball team, affectionately known as "The Firm," which competes in some of the most competitive leagues in the Greater New Orleans area. I am also an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Tulane Law School and enjoy lecturing on various legal topics. Additionally, I am actively involved in several bar associations, public interest groups, and community service organizations, offering pro bono and charitable services to underserved and marginalized communities.
