Catherine Wheeler

Catherine is a Partner with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial practice, with a focus on property, banking and finance and local government. Catherine's experience includes acting for major corporate and government clients in relation to property acquisitions and disposals, property development, project structuring, joint ventures, commercial, retail and residential leasing and leasing of vested land, property due diligence, complex conveyancing and land tenure. Catherine also has broad banking and finance experience which extends from documenting finance transactions to forced sales and workouts, insolvency and personal property securities.Catherine was recognised in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia as a leading lawyer in both Leasing Law and Real Property Law. Catherine was named in the 11th Edition of Best Lawyers in Australia as 'Lawyer of the Year - Leasing Law in Perth'.
