She was a member of the Houston Law Review, the Order of the Barristers, and the Order of the Barons. She also served as both a student representative and presenter on the Honor Board where she adjudicated real disputes on behalf of her peers before a panel of faculty and administrators. Her Honor Board experience gave her early exposure to the importance of understanding a client’s stakes as her own to build the most compelling case possible.
