Carsten Brachmann

Carsten Brachmann is a partner at fellaws, Berlin. He advises private and public employers on individual and collective employment law, especially regarding collective bargaining, works council constitution law, employee representation law and employee leasing. Carsten Brachmann has been a certified specialist for employment law since 2005 with a legal advisory focus on employment law in the areas of public service and M&A.

He advises employers on restructuring measures in various industries and he has successfully advised clients on matters of privatizations, internal reorganization measures and the optimization of personnel costs without redundancies (for example, collective bargaining agreement alteration plans, the conclusion of a company agreement for the purposes of redeployment, performance-related pay and working hours schemes).

Mr. Brachmann is the author of a numerous series of publications concerning industrial law and acts regularly as a contributor on labor law-related topics. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Carsten Brachmann was partner of Salans LLP (today Dentons) and Beiten Burkhardt – both internationally full-service law firms.
