With just over 15 years of experience in Intellectual Property, she collaborated with the firm's Trademark team for 14 years, advising clients on strategies, prosecution and litigation in Mexico and around the world. Currently, she has joined the firm's Patent team, following up on administrative issues related to clients in Mexico and abroad and is in charge of the firm's Data Privacy Area, assisting clients in Mexico and abroad, in the control and management of personal data owned by third parties, along with carrying audits for the creation of privacy notices and risk manuals, as well as the creation and implementation of a DPO’s/CPO’s in Mexico.

She obtained a Law Degree in 2008 from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) in Mexico City and completed a Diploma in Technology Law at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) in 2019. She began her legal practice as a civil and family litigator in 2006 and joined the firm Uhthoff, Gómez Vega & Uhthoff, S.C. in 2008. ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND She is an active member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), chairing the Distinctive Signs during the 2021-2022 biennium and has contributed to the different amendments of the Industrial Property Law and the creation of the new Federal Law for the Protection of Industrial Property in Mexico. Nowadays, she chairs de Dissemination and Promotion Commission of said Association. She is also an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), participating in events and moderating round tables and of the National Association of Business Lawyers (ANADE).
