Carlos E. Gracia is a family law attorney at Goranson Bain Ausley in Austin.
Carlos was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2023 and has practiced family law at Goranson Bain Ausley throughout his career, having served as a law clerk at the firm from 2021 through 2023. He has been named to Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch (2025–2026) and Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2025).
He is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association, the Austin Bar Association Family Law Section, and the Austin Young Lawyers Association.
His practice focuses on divorce, child custody, and modifications and enforcements. Carlos is bilingual in Spanish and represents many Spanish-speaking clients in their native language. Before law school, he spent five years as a bilingual elementary teacher and basketball coach with Dallas Independent School District.
Many of Carlos's clients are individuals who want to resolve their divorce without going to court, parents with contested custody matters, and Spanish-speaking clients who prefer to work with an attorney in their native language.
Carlos earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2022, where he received the Distinction Award in Legal Practice/Writing and served on the Editorial Board of the Texas Bank Lawyer. He served as a student attorney with the Texas Tech Family Law & Housing Clinic and previously interned with the Honorable Judge Dennise Garcia in the 303rd Judicial District (Family Court). Carlos holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from Texas A&M University (2013) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M International University (2012).
