Carlos Bello is one of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology partners at BGBG. He has more than 24 years of experience in the sector, as well as in international negotiations. He holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a Master in Telecommunications Law from the Universidad Pontifica de Comillas and is a graduate of the IPADE Senior Management Program. For several years he has been recognized by national and international publications as one of the best telecommunications lawyers in Mexico.
In the international arena, since 1997 he has represented governments and companies in several World Radiocommunication Conferences and Plenipotentiary Conferences of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Moreover, he served as a member of the first Advisory Council of the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) for the years 2015 and 2016. He also served as Legal Vice President of the Internet.MX Association (formerly AMIPCI), was Alternate Board Member at CANIETI, Vice President of the Information Technology Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce and Board Member at Anatel.
In the academic field, he has been a professor of Commercial Law and Constitutional Law in the Bachelor's Degree in Law and Telecommunications Law in the Master's Degree in International Business Law at the Universidad Iberoamericana. In addition, he was Academic Coordinator of the Master in Telecommunications Law and New Technologies and of the Master in Telecommunications Management at Universidad Anáhuac.
He is a member of the Board of the Mexican ProBono Center, Reviewer of the Pro Bono Mexico Standards and Member of the Advisory Board of the Law School of the Universidad Anáhuac. He has several national and international publications.
