Biography
Carla D. Macaluso is a principal in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She focuses her practice on employment litigation for management exclusively.
Carla has handled all aspects of employment law litigation including claims of harassment and discrimination on the basis of gender, pregnancy, age, race, religion, national origin and disability, as well as wrongful discharge, FMLA, CEPA, invasion of privacy, defamation, breach of employment contracts and retaliation claims. Carla regularly represents employers in federal and state court, and administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.
During law school, Carla was a notes editor for the Vermont Law Review. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Carol McCracken of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County. Carla joined Jackson Lewis in 1997 and has represented employers since.
