Biography
Caitlin VanDuzer is a member of Miller Thomson’s litigation group. Caitlin’s experience ranges from commercial issues, insurance defence, personal injury, transportation and logistics law, health law, and other litigation matters such as equine law disputes, which is largely driven by her background as a competitive show jumper and polo player. Within her insurance practice, she also advises clients on policy coverage issues. Caitlin is also a member of Miller Thomson’s Transportation and Logistics group.
Caitlin joined Miller Thomson as a student in 2020 and concluded her articles with the firm in 2022. She obtained her JD from the University of Ottawa where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she held a research assistant position focusing on surrogacy and organ donation. Caitlin completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in International Development studies, with a primary focus in political science and economics.
