Bryan has been certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Family Law. He is a past instructor in the Family Law Section of the Bar Admission course and has contributed to numerous seminars, lectures, and written articles for the Law Society, Osgoode Hall Law School Continuing Education, the Canadian Institute, and the Ontario Bar Association in the field of family law.
Bryan's practice is restricted to family law, including negotiation and preparation of complex financial agreements and settlements, and attendance as counsel in courts for conferences, motions, trials, appeals and contested private arbitrations with respect to all facets of family law cases, including custody, access, support and property issues. Bryan has significant experience with complicated financial transactions relating to corporations and business structures, as well as income tax and pension issues, and valuation issues.
Bryan has completed the Ministry of the Attorney General's required training for Arbitrators and is retained by other family law lawyers to mediate and arbitrate cases for their clients.
Bryan has a distinguished lawyer rating from Martindale Hubbell Canada and is listed in the Best Lawyers.com directory. He is also listed as "Repeatedly recommended" in the "Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory."
