Brittney N. Sturtevant

Brittney N. Sturtevant is a Principal at Flicker Kerin LLP in San Ramon, California, and a Certified Family Law Specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice is focused on Family Law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property characterization and division, and complex high-asset cases.

Ms. Sturtevant represents clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in a wide range of family law matters. She is a member of the State Bar of California and maintains involvement with local bar associations in Santa Clara County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and Solano County.

Since 2020, Ms. Sturtevant has been selected to the Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. The Rising Stars designation is awarded by Super Lawyers®, a third-party rating service that evaluates attorneys based on factors such as peer recognition, professional achievement, and community involvement. Before joining Flicker Kerin LLP, Ms. Sturtevant founded her own law practice serving clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her prior work included family law, estate planning, business, and real estate matters. She also volunteered with Bay Area Legal Aid, where she represented individuals affected by domestic violence.

Ms. Sturtevant earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. During law school, she served as a senior editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal and completed a judicial externship with the California Court of Appeal, Sixth District, in San Jose.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Sturtevant enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, basketball, and exploring the Bay Area culinary scene.
