Brian T. Chase is a member of Spotts Fain PC’s executive committee and serves as treasurer of the firm. Based in Richmond, Virginia, he practices in the firm’s Business section and is a member of the Real Estate, Financial Services, and Corporate teams. His practice includes Corporate Law and Real Estate Law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions, business matters, and lending transactions for clients across a range of industries.
Brian represents sellers, buyers, developers, investors, and lenders in matters involving the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, management, and disposition of commercial properties. He advises clients on transactions involving multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use assets, helping clients navigate the legal and business considerations associated with complex projects and investments.
In addition to his commercial real estate work, Brian counsels businesses and stakeholders on corporate transactions and financing matters. He regularly works with developers, general partners, and limited partners on multifamily housing projects throughout the United States, including new construction developments, historic conversions, and value-add rehabilitation projects.
