Brian has experience handling all aspects of litigation proceedings from inception to resolution, including requests for injunctive relief, motions practice, discovery, depositions, trial, and appeal.
Prior to joining Cable Huston in 2021, Brian was an associate at Short Cressman & Burgess and later Ogden Murphy Wallace after the two Seattle, Washington firms merged. He represented individuals, companies, and governments in state court, federal court, and arbitration proceedings. He represented clients in commercial litigation, including partnership disputes, real estate transactions and real property disputes, and breach of contract disputes. He also represented employers enforcing non-compete, non-solicit, and confidentiality restrictive covenants. He litigated various environmental cases including a landmark environmental case, recovering a multi-million-dollar CERCLA response cost judgment and successfully defending it on appeal.
