After studying pre-medicine in college, Brett L. Manske chose to pursue a legal career focused on advocating for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Following law school, he was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted criminal cases in New York City and developed substantial courtroom and trial experience.
After his time in Manhattan, Brett returned to his hometown of Rochester, New York, bringing with him a strong commitment to his community and to helping injured individuals seek accountability through the legal system. He began working alongside Steve Barnes at the law offices of Cellino & Barnes and now continues that work at The Barnes Firm Injury Attorneys, representing clients throughout New York in complex injury matters.
At The Barnes Firm Injury Attorneys, Brett focuses his practice on Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs. He represents individuals whose lives have been impacted by serious accidents, unsafe products, and negligence. His background in pre-medicine provides additional insight into the medical issues that often arise in personal injury litigation, helping him evaluate injuries, treatment, and long-term effects on clients and their families.
Brett is committed to guiding clients through every stage of the legal process with clear communication, preparation, and dedicated advocacy. Drawing on his experience as both a prosecutor and trial attorney, he works to protect the rights of injury victims and pursue meaningful results on their behalf.
