Brett Rivkind has been a maritime lawyer since 1983 and has a vast amount of experience handling high profile maritime cases, at both the trial and the appellate level. His extensive knowledge in the field of maritime law led to his invitation to appear before Congress during congressional hearings addressing cruise ship safety and security. He has been frequently interviewed by the media about maritime cases, and has appeared on the Larry King Live show on three separate occasions, sharing his maritime expertise and knowledge.
Following his graduation from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where he earned the highest honor of Order of the Coif, he was hired by the prestigious maritime law firm of Fowler, White, Burnett, Hurley, Banick & Strickroot, PA, where he remained for the first four years of his practice before breaking off to a solely plaintiffs’ personal injury and wrongful death maritime law practice.He has helped thousands of victims who been harmed at sea, and strives to make sure justice is achieved in each case he accepts.
