Biography
Brandon Kahoush is an associate in the firm's San Francisco office. He represents clients in both single plaintiff, class action, and California Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) matters, where he has experience handling all phases of litigation. Brandon has represented clients of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He has worked with employers in numerous industries including in the construction, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and technology.
Brandon regularly advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour violations, Labor Code § 132a, breach of contract, wrongful termination, retaliation, and unfair competition claims.
Brandon regularly represents clients in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and California’s Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).
He also advises and trains managers and supervisors on preventive litigation practices, focusing on how to comply with applicable laws and regulations, avoid workplace disputes, resolve employee relations problems, and satisfy legitimate employee expectations.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Brandon worked for a national law firm, where he defended employers in employment litigation. During law school, Brandon served as a law clerk at a national law firm, and in the gang unit for the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office. Additionally, Brandon served as a staff member for the University of San Francisco Law Review.
