Brad M. Dashoff, an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate/Business practice groups, is known for delivering strategic, practical counsel that helps clients transform complex real estate and business objectives into successful outcomes. He represents clients on projects throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and across the United States.
Brad advises developers, investors, family offices, private equity funds and non-traditional property owners – including religious and nonprofit institutions – on a broad range of real estate matters. His experience includes acquisition, disposition and ground leasing of commercial properties; real estate development; and the structuring of sophisticated debt and equity financing arrangements.
A significant focus of Brad’s practice is representing developers in public-private partnerships with municipal, county and multi-jurisdictional governmental entities. He also represents parties in the formation of joint ventures, where he navigates the legal and business challenges inherent in shared control, governance and decision-making.
Brad regularly represents owners and developers in large-scale, multi-parcel mixed-use developments. In addition, he counsels both borrowers and lenders in traditional, construction, securitized and mezzanine financings, giving him a well-rounded understanding of stakeholder priorities and risk considerations.
Brad is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and leads the firm’s Real Estate practice.
