Bonnie Boryca is an attorney with Erickson Sederstrom in Omaha, Nebraska and a member of the firm’s labor and employment, litigation, appellate practice, commercial litigation, and construction litigation practice groups. Her practice includes employment matters, business and commercial disputes, appellate advocacy, technology litigation, trust and estate disputes, and litigation involving construction-related issues. Bonnie works with businesses, executives, and individuals to address legal challenges efficiently and strategically.
Bonnie regularly advises employers and business owners on workplace policies, employee relations, internal investigations, and responses to grievances and employment claims. She also counsels executives, directors, and company officers regarding employment agreements, compensation matters, separation agreements, and workplace transitions. In addition, Bonnie has assisted federal employees with claims, benefits, and compensation matters involving federal agencies.
Her commercial litigation practice includes representing companies and business owners in complex disputes involving contracts, business operations, shareholder and ownership issues, and related litigation matters. Bonnie also works with shareholders, LLC members, and business partners to help address and resolve disputes involving company governance and business relationships before they escalate into litigation.
As part of her appellate practice, Bonnie has represented clients before state and federal appellate courts, including the Nebraska Supreme Court, Nebraska Court of Appeals, Kansas Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She also appears before courts and administrative agencies in Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa, including the EEOC, NEOC, and the Department of Labor.
Bonnie is a Contributing Editor of the Nebraska and Upper Midwest Employment Law Letter and regularly presents on employment law and litigation topics. She serves on Erickson Sederstrom’s Board of Directors and has been recognized as a Great Plains Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Bonnie remains active in the Omaha community through professional and civic involvement.
