Attorney Beth Klein is dedicated to using her legal education to make a positive impact beyond the usual practice of law. Her guiding principle is: “We use our power for good.” She provides legal assistance to personal injury and legal malpractice clients in Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, and Vail, Colorado.

She began her career in 1987 with a distinguished boutique trial firm. Notably, she became the first female national trial attorney for Owens Corning in asbestos litigation. Between 1993 and 1999, she tried cases across the United States in complex, high-risk litigation, gaining valuable courtroom experience. Few attorneys have had similar exposure and on-the-job training.

In 1999, Beth Klein, P.C. was established. Beth successfully resolved a state-wide class action against American Cemwood for defective roofing materials that impacted many Colorado homeowners. Additionally, she led a pivotal class action against American Family Insurance, resulting in the retroactive enhancement of 27,000 automobile policies to provide better coverage in compliance with Colorado law, benefiting thousands.

Since 1979, Beth has been addressing the injustices of human trafficking and exploitation. Over the years, she has represented victims in civil court, working relentlessly to secure compensation for their damages. Beth Klein has also contributed to crafting legislation for states and governments around the globe, offering her expertise without charge.

Post the massive earthquake in Haiti, Klein collaborated with the US Military, State Department, and numerous families to assist in the adoption process of Haitian children. In January 2024, her humanitarian efforts took her to Uganda with Heal & Thrive to launch a literacy center near Soroti. This center aims to empower 120 widows and single mothers, teaching them literacy skills essential for business and self-sufficiency, thus contributing to the fight against slavery.

In Kenya and Uganda, women and girls responsible for entire families often face extreme hardships. Beth's work is directed at offering them opportunities for a better future.

Beth has filed lawsuits against military contractors involved in misconduct in war and conflict zones. One notable case, Dawson v. Fluor, received recognition as the “Case of the Year” by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and was entered into the Texas Verdict Hall of Fame. This case, resulting in a $19 million verdict, required locating witnesses in Iraq and negotiating with various governmental entities.

Beth Klein was inducted into the Texas Verdict Hall of Fame.

Currently, Beth Klein focuses on legal malpractice, product liability, and serious personal injury cases. She selectively takes cases to ensure that each client receives personalized attention.

With nearly 40 years of experience, Beth Klein handles complex product liability cases involving severe injuries. Her work includes cases related to defective gas lines, propane tanks, and home appliance malfunctions leading to explosions. She has represented clients who have suffered significant injuries, burns, and amputations.

Her legal malpractice work dates back to 1990, representing both attorneys and clients affected by legal malpractices. Her understanding and experience in insurance coverage issues are invaluable in successfully resolving these intricate cases.

“Honest, Talented, Realistic, and Compassionate. Those four words best describe Beth Klein as an attorney and person. I know of no other personal injury plaintiff’s attorney who possesses the depth of knowledge and experience Beth Klein has. Her practice ranges from automobile accidents to mass torts and class actions. She has done and seen it all, demonstrating tremendous command of the facts and law continually in a month-long trial that led to an unprecedented verdict for her client against one of the largest corporations on earth.”
