Besar Thaci

Besar Thaci is a Senior Associate in Peckar & Abramson’s New York office where he concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, construction, and real estate law.

Besar has represented clients in New York state and federal courts and is skilled in handling cases from inception to trial, including trying cases as first and second chair. He also has experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including contracts for the sale of real property, leases, asset purchase agreements, and a wide variety of other commercial contracts. Prior to practicing in the United States, Besar worked for leading law firms in Albania where he represented foreign and domestic corporations in civil disputes and commercial transactions.

Besar received his law degree from the University of Tirana and his two Master of Law Degrees from Stockholm University, Sweden (2011), and Pace Law School (2017), from which he graduated cum laude. He speaks fluent Albanian and Italian.
