Bertrand P. Ménard

Bertrand P. Ménard is a senior counsel in the Corporate Group, specializing in Real Estate and Financing. Bertrand has been involved (i) in the acquisition, disposition and financing of landmark properties and major portfolios of office, retail, hotel and industrial properties throughout Canada, and (ii) in the structuring, implementation and financing of infrastructure projects including wind farms and hydro projects. In the course of such mandates, he advised his clients on all aspects of real estate law, developing a particular expertise with respect to joint ventures, co-ownerships, superficies and emphyteusis.

As an important part of his clientele is foreign, he has been involved in the design and implementation of various cross-border investment structures, including the constitution and organization of various Canadian and foreign investment vehicles.
