Benjamin Osorio

Benjamin Osorio represents clients in a wide range of immigration law matters, with a focus on removal defense and complex immigration proceedings. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, Benjamin serves individuals and families through Murray Osorio PLLC and has appeared before immigration courts throughout the United States, including courts in Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Arlington, Lumpkin, Baltimore, New Orleans, Orlando, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Newark, Harlingen, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.

Benjamin has handled a broad range of immigration cases involving removal proceedings, appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and matters before the United States Courts of Appeals. His background in both criminal law and immigration law allows him to advise clients on the immigration consequences that may arise from criminal charges and convictions. Before focusing his practice on immigration law, Benjamin worked as a law clerk in a prosecutor’s office and later as a criminal defense attorney.

Benjamin’s commitment to immigration advocacy is also shaped by personal experience. As the son of a Venezuelan immigrant, he understands many of the challenges immigrant families may face when navigating the legal system. He has also spent time working in Guatemala and Spain, experiences that continue to inform his approach to representing clients from diverse backgrounds.

Fluent in Spanish, Benjamin regularly works with Spanish-speaking clients and remains active in the immigrant rights community through volunteer efforts with nonprofit legal organizations, including the Immigrant Justice Campaign, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and CARA.
