Sunny Aujla is a Partner at Farris LLP in Surrey, British Columbia, practicing in the areas of Corporate Law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, corporate commercial matters, and commercial lending. He advises businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs on a broad range of transactions and operational matters, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate development projects, equity and debt financings, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance matters, complex real estate transactions, and the structuring of private companies and partnerships.
Sunny has acted as counsel on transactions across Canada and internationally, working with clients in a variety of industries to support business growth, financing, and strategic transactions. His practice includes advising private companies on day-to-day corporate matters as well as significant transactional initiatives.
Sunny joined Farris as a summer student in 2009 and practiced with the firm until 2015 before returning as a Partner in 2023. With strong ties to the Fraser Valley, he is based in Surrey and remains active in the local business community through participation in business organizations and presentations at seminars and industry events.
Sunny has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada directory for his work in Corporate Law. He earned a business law distinction from the Schulich School of Law.
