She advises start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses on intellectual property strategy, with a particular focus on life sciences, biotechnology, medical devices and emerging technologies. Her M.Sc. in Neuroscience and experience working in research laboratories give her a practical understanding of the technologies behind her clients’ innovations.
Rhiannon works closely with clients to identify and protect their intellectual property, develop practical IP strategies and build a strong foundation for commercialization and growth. She has experience supporting companies through programs including ElevateIP, IRAP IP Assist and Alberta Innovates.
