Ashley Shearer

Ashley Shearer is a Senior Associate in the Portland office of Williams Kastner, where her practice is concentrated in construction litigation and general tort liability. She represents a range of clients—including contractors, developers, insurers, and business entities—in disputes involving construction defects, contract issues, and personal injury claims.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Ashley brings a balanced perspective to her work, having handled both plaintiff and defense matters throughout her career. Her comprehensive approach to litigation is informed by this diverse background, allowing her to effectively navigate complex legal challenges.

Originally from Athens, Georgia, Ashley earned her B.A. in history from the University of Georgia and her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution and contributed to the school’s publication focused on developments in dispute resolution.
