Ash Giri focuses his practice on civil litigation, including business litigation, defense of employment related claims, tort defense, construction litigation, professional liability litigation, and insurance coverage litigation.
Before joining Young Moore, Ash worked for a Raleigh workers’ compensation firm. He also has experience handling landlord-tenant cases with Legal Aid of North Carolina.
Ash earned a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota, located in his native state. He graduated cum laude from Campbell University School of Law, where he won awards for his legal writing skills and served as the Executive Editor and Bluebook Editor of the Campbell Law Review. He was also President of Campbell’s Business Law Association and competed in the 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Ash’s favorite part of his job is getting to know his clients. He thinks it is his greatest privilege to advocate for clients in high-stakes, often sensitive legal matters.
Ash shares his home with his girlfriend, Devan, and their dog, Ella. Outside of Young Moore, Ash is an avid reader, record collector, and soccer fan.
