Garza Law PLLC, he represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation, business disputes, employment matters, and real estate litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, he serves as a mediator and arbitrator in a wide range of complex matters.
Aric has handled online mediations, hearings, and arbitrations since 2020, conducting more than 200 proceedings through Zoom and other virtual platforms. His experience as both a litigator and neutral allows him to work with parties and counsel to address challenging legal and business disputes in an efficient and practical manner.
Since 1999, Aric has represented plaintiffs and defendants in business-to-business disputes, employment disputes, and real estate matters. His background in commercial litigation provides valuable insight into the legal and operational issues that often arise in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
Aric was named to the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) in 2023 (Aric J Garza at NADN). He served as Chair of the State Bar of Texas ADR Section from 2025–2026 and previously served as Co-Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution. He also served as Chair of the ADR Section of the San Antonio Bar Association.
Since 2014, Aric has been assigned more than 200 arbitration matters as a panelist with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) on its Commercial, Consumer, Construction, and Employment panels. He also serves on panels for CPR Institute, FINRA, and the American Health Law Association.
His professional and community involvement includes service as a Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates and as an Ambassador for the AAA-ICDR Foundation. Aric is a Sustaining Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the Texas Bar Foundation, and the San Antonio Bar Foundation. He also serves on the board of The Village at Incarnate Word retirement community in San Antonio, Texas.
Outside the practice of law, Aric is known locally as “The Blues Lawyer,” () performing blues music at venues throughout San Antonio.
