Ari Ramras has more than 20 years of experience in resolving business and real estate disputes. He is a Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law (State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization). Ari is an AV rated attorney (Martindale-Hubbell) and has been selected to Best Lawyers in America for Litigation – Real Estate and Real Estate Law (2013-) and Southwest Super Lawyers (2010-). He has been interviewed on NBC12 and ABC15 regarding real estate issues.

Ari has litigated a variety of real estate and business disputes in federal and state court. He has handled hundreds of escrow and title claims for some of the largest title insurers in the county.In 2008, Ari successfully litigated a landmark title insurance coverage dispute in the Arizona Supreme Court, First American Title Insurance Company v. Action Acquisitions, 218 Ariz. 394, 187 P.3d 1107 (2008). He has also filed amicus curiae briefs with the Arizona Supreme Court for the Land Title Association of Arizona.

Ari was trained in mediation at the Program on Negotiation (PON) at Harvard Law School. He focuses on real estate mediations with an evaluative style. Ari is currently a mediation provider for the Arizona Association of Realtors. As a former Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court from 2005-2013, he conducted numerous civil settlement conferences. In 2009, Ari was selected by the Director of the Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law to serve on the Foreclosure Mediation Task Force. In addition to his litigation and mediation practice, Ari serves on the arbitration roster for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Ari has consulted as an expert witness on both title insurance and real estate litigation standard of care issues. His broad title expertise has been gained serving as outside claims, coverage, and underwriting counsel. Ari is certified by the Arizona Department of Real Estate as an instructor and has lectured at various continuing education and industry events on a variety of real estate issues, including a class on title procedures at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business.

Ari has volunteered for various Law Day Legal Aid Clinics and Lawyers on Call public service programs, and has prepared information material for the Volunteer Lawyers Program. He has also answered questions on the Connecticut Free Legal Answers pro bono legal advice clinic and volunteered with the COVID-19 pro bono network coordinated by the New York State Bar Association in partnership with the New York State Court System.

Ari received a BBA with distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a JD from the University of Arizona College of Law. He is licensed in Arizona, Connecticut, and New York.
