Archie Rabinowitz is a partner and senior litigation lawyer at Gowling WLG. Based in Toronto, he assists clients in the areas of estates and trusts law as a member of the firm’s global Private Client Services Group.
With extensive trial and appellate experience in fiduciary litigation, Archie represents trust companies, government agencies and individuals in matters involving:
- Contested passing of accounts
- Validity of wills
- Estate claims
- Breach of trust actions
- Undue influence claims
- Interpretation of wills
- Appointment or removal of trustees or guardians
Archie’s practice also involves working with the Canada Revenue Agency on rectification/repairs to defective wills and trusts, and with LawPRO as preferred counsel on professional negligence claims arising out of estate matters.
