Anthony “Tony” Bisconti is a trial attorney at Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP in Los Angeles, California, representing businesses and individuals in complex litigation, bankruptcy matters, insolvency proceedings, and white-collar criminal defense matters.
Tony represents clients through all stages of litigation, including trials, evidentiary hearings, contested matters, arbitrations, mediations, adversary proceedings, and appeals. He has significant experience handling business reorganizations and insolvency-related disputes on behalf of debtors, creditors, creditor committees, trustees, and company principals. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies, the FDIC, technology start-ups, closely held businesses, professional athletes, public figures, and high-net-worth individuals.
In his white-collar criminal defense practice, Tony represents businesses and individuals in investigations and litigation involving the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, and other federal, state, and local agencies. He also advises clients facing government investigations involving financial and business-related disputes.
Tony maintains an active appellate practice and has represented clients in state and federal appellate courts. He has briefed and argued matters before courts of appeal and has served as counsel in proceedings before the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to his litigation practice, Tony is active in the bankruptcy and insolvency legal community. He is a member of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum and previously served as President of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum. He has authored articles and participated in educational programs addressing bankruptcy litigation, healthcare insolvencies, restructuring matters, and issues involving the intersection of bankruptcy and criminal law.
Tony earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, where he graduated near the top of his class, served on the Dean’s Honor List, was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society, and worked as an editor of the Loyola Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, with a double major in rhetoric and legal studies and a minor in philosophy.
Before joining Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP, Tony served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Maureen A. Tighe of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
