Anthony M. Ruiz

Anthony M. Ruiz represents individuals and corporations in government investigations and complex civil litigation. His practice covers criminal and civil actions involving allegations of securities fraud, foreign corrupt practices, and other allegations of misconduct made by the Department of Justice, the SEC, and other government and regulatory agencies. Anthony also represents individuals and companies involved in business-related disputes, and he advises lawyers, law firms, and other organizations on professional ethics and disciplinary investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as a clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Anthony also worked as an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, representing corporate clients in internal and government investigations, as well as debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

As a law student, Anthony worked as an extern in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York on a range of criminal matters.
