Anthony Arguijo is a commercial litigation attorney based in Austin, Texas with Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP. His practice focuses on Commercial Litigation, Energy Law, and Oil and Gas Law, representing oil and gas operators, working interest owners, and service companies in complex disputes across Texas and in appellate proceedings.
Anthony has experience handling matters at both the trial and appellate levels. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Texas. He works with clients through all stages of litigation, including pretrial strategy, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals.
In addition to his litigation practice, Anthony is actively involved in firm leadership and professional initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession. He serves as Chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and participates in organizations at the local, state, and national levels that promote broader participation and opportunity in the legal community.
Anthony also serves as Co-chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee, where he helps support attorney recruitment and professional development initiatives at Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP.
