Q&A

My practice is devoted exclusively to representing injured individuals and their families in personal injury cases. What makes my work unique is the deeply personal reason behind why I chose this path—after losing my grandmother in a motor vehicle collision while I was in college, I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to giving a voice to those whose lives have been forever changed by someone else’s negligence.

I handle a wide range of cases, including motor vehicle and motorcycle collisions, premises liability, dog bites, and wrongful death. No matter the case, my goal is always the same: to provide compassionate support while aggressively pursuing the justice and compensation my clients deserve. Each case is more than just a file to me—it’s about helping people rebuild their lives during some of their most difficult moments.

How long will my case take?

Every case is unique, and the timeline depends on many factors, such as the extent of your injuries, the length of your medical treatment, and whether the case can be resolved through settlement or requires a trial. Some cases may resolve in a matter of months, while others can take longer. My priority is ensuring that we don’t rush the process and that you receive the full compensation you deserve.

Do I have to go to court?

Not always. Many personal injury cases are resolved through negotiation or settlement without ever going to trial. However, if the insurance company refuses to be fair, I am fully prepared to advocate for you in court. My role is to guide you through each step so you feel informed and supported, whether we settle or go to trial.

What makes your firm different from others?

At The Barnes Firm, our attorneys know firsthand the impact a serious accident can have on a family, and we approach each case with both compassion and determination. We combine personal attention with the resources and experience of a large firm, which allows us to deliver the strongest possible representation while never losing sight of the human story behind every case.

One of the most challenging aspects of personal injury law is seeing firsthand the devastating impact an accident can have on individuals and their families. No two cases are ever the same—each comes with unique medical, financial, and emotional challenges. It can also be difficult when insurance companies try to minimize the seriousness of a client’s injuries or delay fair compensation.

What keeps me motivated through those challenges is knowing that I can make a real difference. I’ve seen how achieving justice and securing a fair settlement can help clients rebuild their lives and move forward. The work can be tough, but it is incredibly meaningful.

While I was in college, my grandmother was tragically killed in a motor vehicle collision. That loss deeply shaped me and opened my eyes to how profoundly an accident can affect a family. It inspired me to dedicate my career to standing up for those who have been harmed through no fault of their own. I knew I wanted to use my voice, my training, and my determination to make sure injured individuals and their families have someone fighting for them every step of the way.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy traveling, working out, and spending time with my family and dogs!

What I’d like clients to know is that when you come to me with your case, you’re not just another file or number. I truly understand how overwhelming and life-changing an accident can be, and I approach every case with compassion and dedication. At The Barnes Firm, we combine the personal attention of a dedicated attorney with the strength and resources of one of the nation’s largest personal injury firms. That means my clients get both the care they deserve and the powerful advocacy needed to take on big insurance companies.

At the end of the day, it’s about more than just winning a case—it’s about helping people rebuild their lives and making sure their voices are heard. That commitment is at the heart of my work and at the core of what The Barnes Firm stands for.
