Anisa Kelley, a director in
the firm, regularly represents healthcare providers in matters before their
respective professional regulatory boards. She represents practitioners
with licensing disputes and investigations before the Boards including the
Boards of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Dentistry. She assists healthcare providers with
credentialing, peer review and risk management matters. She also provides general counsel services to
medical groups. Ms. Kelley has represented hundreds of Virginia healthcare providers in Virginia
Board matters and medical malpractice claims.
Kelley is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in Virginia
and the District of Columbia. Upon graduation from law school at the George Washington
University, Ms. Kelley served as a law
clerk to the Honorable John H. Suda of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. In 2007, Ms. Kelley was selected for inclusion
in Who’s Who in American Law. She has
also been selected for inclusion in the 2010 and 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the
specialty of Medical Malpractice Law.
