Angela Rae, one of the firm’s partners, joined the firm in 1987 upon graduating from law school. She represents employers in all aspects of labour and employment law, including negotiations, arbitrations, labour board proceedings and actions for wrongful dismissal. In addition, she has represented clients in workers’ compensation, human rights, employment standards and pay equity matters. Angela has written and lectured on all aspects of labour and employment law and is a regular speaker at events hosted by a number of legal education organizations. She is a former member of the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association Administrative Law Section.
Prior to joining the firm, Angela obtained a B.A. from the University of Waterloo, and earned her law degree at the University of Toronto.
Angela is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association (Labour Relations and Administrative Law Sections), the Advocates’ Society and The Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers’ Association.
