We are very selective about our cases, which means more personal service and better results for our clients. Mr. Sher founded his law firm on the belief that he could establish “a small law firm by choice, with big-firm experience and capabilities.”
Since its inception, the firm has been actively engaged in prosecuting a wide variety of cases nationwide involving catastrophic personal injuries and damages arising from 18-wheeler commercial tractor trailer accidents, dangerous drugs and products, oil field or pipeline leaks, explosions and fires, and environmental pollution and toxic exposures.
Since its inception, the firm has been actively engaged in prosecuting a wide variety of cases nationwide involving catastrophic personal injuries and damages arising from 18-wheeler commercial tractor trailer accidents, dangerous drugs and products, oil field or pipeline leaks, explosions and fires, and environmental pollution and toxic exposures.
We represented a young man who was seriously injured, through no fault of his own, the second week on the job working for an oilfield service company in West Texas. An 18-wheeler tractor trailer started to drive off before his load was secured forcing this young man to run and jump off a moving trailer to save his own life. As a result of contract between our client's employer and the oil company who owned the location, this young man's employer and its insurance carrier were contractually obligated to pay for the damages regardless of fault. Nevertheless, the arrogance and bad faith of his employer was astonishing as they literally fell on their own sword to assume liability and avoid having pay. "To find out what motivates corporations, just follow the money" remains true.
Every case is different, just like every client is different. Although we are able to employ what were have learned from experience gained over 26 years practicing law, every case poses new challenges and must be carefully thought through with our client's unique interests in mind. Everyday presents new challenges and opportunities to help our clients.
