Andrew P. Nemiroff is a family law attorney with Parrino Shattuck PC, representing clients in Westport and throughout Connecticut. He earned his law degree with honors from John Marshall Law School in 1979, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. After graduating, Mr. Nemiroff completed a two-year judicial clerkship with the Honorable T.F. Gilroy Daly of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Following his clerkship, Mr. Nemiroff focused his practice on Family Law and Civil Litigation. He began his legal career with the Connecticut office of Day, Berry & Howard and later became a principal with the firm of Epstein & Fogarty in 1986. In 1995, he became a founding member of Fogarty Cohen & Nemiroff, where his work has continued to center on family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related issues.
Mr. Nemiroff has extensive courtroom experience in Connecticut trial courts and has appeared before arbitration panels. His work has also included appellate matters in both state and federal courts. In addition to his private practice, he serves as a Special Master for family law matters in Connecticut, assisting courts with the resolution of complex disputes.
Mr. Nemiroff has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for his work in matrimonial law and has been named by Westchester Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Fairfield County. He has also been listed in the New England Super Lawyers publication in the area of Family Law from 2007 to the present.
Originally born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Nemiroff was raised in Stamford, Connecticut and has long resided in Greenwich. Through his practice at Parrino Shattuck PC, he continues to represent individuals and families in Westport and nearby communities, with a practice devoted to Family Law.
